you will wear out the cd!!!! - This is an outstanding album from a spectacularly talented artist. It s hard to choose favourites but if I have to - i guess I ll go with Good Morning Sunshine, Last Night I Had The Strangest Dream, Weak In The Knees, Out Of The Blue and Just Another Day.But I love every single track!!!! Do yourself a favour, you won t be disappointed.

terrific 2nd album - boy i sure hope that amazon gives this album enough respect to actually post a review and perhaps the album cover soon.this is a terrific 2nd full length release by serena ryder. this peterboro native has enough talent and charisma to make it big time if people give her the chance. her voice is big versatile and strong but she doesn t over sing the songs she has chosen. she sings them with class and makes them her own. my faves are leonard cohen s sisters of mercy and quand les hommes vivront d amour but really, not a weak track on the album. the three originals at the end of the cd prove that serena can hold her own with the other songwriters she has chosen.

Get in on the Ground Floor - Serena Ryder has a voice like no other and a wisdom that belies her years. The Canadian covers are delightful and the hidden track, a remix of Good Mornin Starshine, sublime. She already has a large following in Australia and Canada will soon follow. An exceptional talent.

cover story - This is an album comprised of mostly cover material (except for the last three songs). She definately has the ability to take a song and make it her own - mostly due to her unique voice. She s livened up most of them, kind of updating them. Track 15 was released on her previous album (Unlikely Emergency), but it is a different version on this disk. I ve shaken her hand, I ve watched her play live - she has talent. She can actually sing, and plays an awesome acoustic guitar. Buy her albums, support Canadian Music.
